This summer we were proud to bring you a new event to the Coaching U lineup as we hosted the inaugural Front Office Training Camp pres. by Hudl!
Initially scheduled to debut in the summer of 2020, we were forced to delay due to the global pandemic... however, it was worth the wait!
The Front Office Training Camp is a 2-day event designed to allow attendees to learn the structure of NBA front offices through an inside look into the world of basketball operations. Guests learned every aspect of various job opportunities with NBA teams from current NBA executives: David Griffin (New Orleans Pelicans, Exec. VP of Basketball Ops.), Tommy Sheppard (Washington Wizards, Pres. of Basketball Ops.), Matt Lloyd (Minnesota Timberwolves, Senior Vice President), Ettore Messina (Olimpia Milano, Pres. & Head Coach) Anthony Parker (Orlando Magic, Asst. GM), Ronald Dupree (Milwaukee Bucks, Dir. of Global Scouting), Walker D. Russell (Dallas Mavericks, Scout), Darnell Lazare (New Orleans Pelicans, Asst. Coach - Player Development), Bobby Marks (ESPN, Front Office Expert & Former Asst. GM of Brooklyn Nets), Malik Rose (NBA G-League, Head of Basketball Ops.), BJ Armstrong (Wasserman, Exec. VP & Managing Executive), and Ron Klempner (NBPA, Sr. Counsel for Collective Bargaining).
